if they made this, they wouldn't have any trouble selling many. think of having this pull up at a local C&C... it's going to garner tons of attention. i have a feeling it would be very impressive in person.

i really like the rear wing right now. nice modern interpretation of the original and retains the strong rake of the original. i bet it would be rather dramatic in person.

embracing the 80's for sure
They're saying 70s 934/935
But the bright red, the gold wheels, the big wing, the naca ducts, feels very 80's Ferrari to me

there's apparently a non-935 style wing version also.

Squint a bit and it looks like a 930 has driven into the back end of a 959 and is in the process of being swallowed up.

It's all a bit too 'busy' and fussy for my liking.

Where's the 'jump the shark' emoji?

Not a fan. Their 930 study has much nicer lines, the standard singer has good proportions too.
This is like a cross breed of a 3.2, carrera, 935, and gt1. I mean, pick a design and run with it?

But its ok to be a critic over here on the sidelines :-)

i'm certainly not trying to justify this design for singer - they clearly do not need my help.

i do see the overall design speaking 934 and 935 language, though. if you wanted to make a 'new' 934/5, this Singer would be that car.

I do like the look. Very 935. However, I wish they would stop killing perfectly good 964s to do these restomod projects.

i said that very thing to a friend earlier today. if this study gets the green light and they again use the 964 chassis, we'd now be talking about a relatively significant number of 964s having been used for the 3 models. not a fan of that aspect.

Singer RWB. Not crazy about it, and I love the old 934/35 and all the wild 911 race cars of the era.
Singer's turbo model is much nicer.

My wife says if you are old enough to live through fashion the first time around you shouldn't consider the modern version.

I say the same with these backdates. Good for some I guess. No doubt this would buy many singers but my vote is for it being done right the first time.

Nailed it. There’s no integration here.

I still like the standard DLS with Williams motor the most out of all the Singer cars. Unfortunately I don't foresee having to make that choice at any point. However, if someone would trade me my "stock(ish)" 964 for a Singer I'd snap it up on a heartbeat.
