Default 964 dual exhaust options?

Hello,
I have a 964 with a B & B header/muffler single outlet (No cats)
Want to convert to dual exhaust (cats or no cats) with headers.
1. Fabspeed or other recommendations?
2. How do other owners manage the left side cut out in the bumper for the other outlet?

Thanks!

Here is the company that many have used.

Euro RS Seamless Rear Bumper 964 - Narrow Body - GRP - Dual Exit - For Paint (fvd.net)

or the individual piece for the driver side.....This is what was purchased the most from people I spoke to..... There is a distributor in Florida...................Hope this helps....... I dont want to mention the company name because I am not sure if you can advertise vendors on this site.

Rear Bumper End Cover 964 - Left - Narrow Body - GRP (fvd.net)

FVD sells M&M exhausts which look very high quality and are available in every configuration (e.g. https://www.fvd.net/us-en/BES9640000...with-heat.html).

I saw a YouTube clip of one of these and it sounded amazing.

if you are thinking of permanently keeping the dual set up why not just use the original bumper? must be done by a skillful tech though

Ha, I was going to suggest to go for a new RS center as well.

AB, I have the Fabspeed dual exhaust. Pics below.

It’s loud! And I have bad resonance at around 2500 rpm which means it’s always there when cruising at 100 kph. Going’s to add baffles to fix it. Above 3k rpm it sings and above 4K rpm it howls and screams. Sounds great. Don’t know hp gains are as great as Fabspeed says on their website but a guy who has driven lots of 964s says the engine has a lot of torque….who knows. Probably the fact the only original part on the engine is the crank…..ouch!

I recon the dual exhaust looks great.

Which Fabsopeed is that?

I put a Fabspeed 964/993 RSR setup on my 911 mit 993 engine, It's great sounding, very mellow , no resonance at all, I can even hear the engine fan for the first time in a few decades

Hi Bill, I bought the Fabspeed RSR header muffler kit. No cats. With heat exchangers. There is no way it is mellow. Just failed a warrant (MOT in the Uk) for being too loud. It def needs baffles to sort the resonance also. It’S not really driveble as it is. My ears start ringing after 10 minutes. And it doesn’t go away for a few hours!

Yes, that’s it But I bought mine a few years ago. They may have changed the muffler internals since then. I’ve been rebuilding the engine for the past few years so haven’t had much time to get annoyed about the resonance…...

I have the FVD cut out for the left side I'll make a great deal on. I bought it with the intention of doing full dual but ended up with a different set up.
