Default Pricing a 1994 964 C2

Looking for some pointers on a reasonable asking price for my 964.

Details:
1994 964 C2 (Yes, a ‘94)
Grand Prix White on black leather
Big bolster sport seats
5 speed manual
Sunroof
Alpine head unit
220 LSD
KW V3’s
Aftermarket rear muffler (and no G pipe) - no drone, very comfortable volume
Cup 1 wheels
Under 85k miles
Clean body / no rust

Clean title, in hand.

This is a clean presentable driver. The interior and exterior are in very nice shape, nothing to be ashamed of, no rips tears etc etc. I have owned it since 2010.

I have too many cars - It doesn’t get driven much at all, so I am putting a couple up for sale.

Located in the Atlanta area.

This is not a For Sale post.

Once I have taken a good set of pictures I will post it up properly. I don’t know what the right asking price is, today. I don’t really care for BAT etc.

Thanks for the help.

Suggestion
Find someone to list it on BAT for you or you are leaving money on the table.
Why not have the whole world bid on it?
You cant achieve BAT traffic any other way.
Sounds like it would exceed $100K on BAT.

The dude said no BaT and I get it. I, personally, don't go trying to maximize every last thing in life, prefer things to go the right way. Last time I sold a very saleable car I very much enjoyed the peer to peer transaction.

My gut is the 100k figure is a good one. +/- 15k for any number of reasons.

Sounds like a nice one that would be in demand. Hopefully Cobalt will chime in here. He is wise when it comes to 964s. I bet you will have no toruble selling it for top dollar without having to list it on an auction site.

Under 85k miles and a very rare (last model year) 1994 C2, I would think the price could go higher depending on condition, etc.

I think that car would sell very quickly at 100k.

Being a 94, likely closer to $125 assuming all mechanicals are up to date (are they ever?) and a clean carfax. Pictures would certainly help to ascertain condition

with 85k miles, overall condition will be just as important as the miles. if it's in top condition, the mileage won't matter nearly as much. very few 94s out there and it will carry a premium. if maintenance is solid, condition that doesn't suggest neglect over those miles, and it's turn key, i'd say $110-125 would be the range. 964s look great in white. i think sport seats are a big plus, but some may not care. LSD is a plus, but the cars do just fine without it. surprising how few have 220. sounds well optioned - should bring plenty of interest.

i also have a sport seat, 220 car and i believe that adds nice value. i bet the percentage that have both of those options is rather small.

'94s (and '93s) are more desirable for a lot of reasons, so to the right buyer (ie someone who actually knows WHY a 93/94 is better), I agree there is a premium to be had. Really hard to tell without pictures/service history, but I think 110-120k is probably the right range for it.

Probably the only thing going against it (and I say this as someone who actually likes GPW) is that white isn't as desirable as most other colors to a chunk of the buying population, so it won't do quite as well as a black/silver/red IMO and much less than a blue/green/skittles type car.

Wow,,,,say it isnt so...I remember when you posted you got it. Sad to hear you are selling. Best of luck with it. I am here in Kennesaw / Marietta area......Check with the local shops as well if they know anyone who wants a 964 and they can probably give you a great value on it as well locally. Try reaching out to Goldcrest for a valuation...They asked me a few times before if I was interested in selling mine. My car is the same as yours but a 1990 and high 30,000 miles....

Like others mentioned, the best selling price would be from BAT I am sure.....

BTW,,,,Who were you using for repairs on yours. when it was needed? I have Goldcrest in Kennesaw, but I would like to have a additional reputable shop to use just in case....

here's a result for you... it's probably a bit more modded than both of our cars, but it shows the money is out there when someone wants what you have. even with some of the upgrades, i really don't think this is a more valuable car than mine given my mileage.

just another data point.

Hello!

Was wondering if you were interested in a private sale possibly? I currently have a red 964, but miss my old white one, and think I want to get back into a white one.

If you're not ready yet, I understand. Wouldn't mind having a conversation about it though! Feel free to call or text me with any info, pics, etc.

Post some pics - sounds like a pretty ride. I have a 94 RSA - not many 94 964s of any variant out there.

Agree with prior suggestions of $110-120 or so. Higher end of that range if you’ve done significant mechanical refreshing during your ownership.

Posting here and on Panorama Mart will probably get it sold, although BaT, obnoxious as it can be, is definitely the best chance of top dollar.
