Default Stuttgart-Classica Frunk Insert

Curious if anyone on this site has owned or has seen this product in person? They make a cf and plain polyester version. Thanks!

That looks pretty sharp! Well made and appears to fit perfectly. But the price? I guess that's what people will pay now days.
Look at drop in liners for truck beds or similar stuff for other frunks....this 964 tax is getting crazy.

Be sure to check out what Carbone.pl has before buying that. That looks a little to modern to me for a 964.

I have seen their piece. Overall, the Carbone one is nice, but I want a leather frunk with carpet on the floor.

Yeah, price is nuts - especially for the CF one. I am trying to think of a way to recreate something similar that I can wrap in leather. I don't think it looks too modern, but rather how an OEM piece should look (minus the CF).

I'm thinking of heading out to their location in NJ to see that and other things in person. My understanding is that it doesn't work with a front strut brace, which is a negative.

It looks neat but how practical is it? I routinely go away for a weekend and put a carryon bag / suitcase in my frunk. The carpet basically holds it in place. Putting a suitcase (and other hard objects) on a hard surface like this will just allow them to slide around which might be a bit annoying / damaging. Just my 2 (Canadian) cents (worth 1.45US cents today - haha)

Default Frunk

Is there a hinge to access the tire and storage below? Or do you have to remove the whole liner?

Everyone's uses are different. It won't be for everyone, that's for sure. The carpeted frunk has always bothered me and I'm not a purist so I am always thinking of ways I can better the car for me. I like neat and tidy and I am going to re-do my interior and want to match the frunk. Having this would be one way of wrapping the frunk in leather. If you can't use a strut bar with it, it's a no-go, regardless.

The Theon Design version looks good and has provision for a strut brace.
Only down side, you need to buy the car to get it!!!
May give you some inspiration though...

Yep, also part of my inspiration. (thanks for the picture) I am trying to figure out a way to make something similar without adding too much weight.

Mr. Wolfe
To quote Colin Chapman "add lightness"
As you're planning to cover it in leather, I'm sure a small composite parts maker, could make you a one off shell in carbon fibre, if you showed them your inspiration.
