Better is subjective…..

It does appear that there’s a trend forming towards restoration of 964’s with a few of the backdating shops offering it up now. Demand hasn’t cooled and clearly supply of nice examples are few and far between.

Look at some of those rare colors and condition seems nice. What a crime.

You could buy 2 300SL for that...and guess what will be more valuable in twenty years?
If you are just seeking attention and you show up at the niteclub in that or in a Gullwing, which do you think gets more attention?

I think one thing we can all agree on is there could be worse things done to a 964 vs being a singer donor.

Porsche is suing Singer...

What makes it even more interesting, is that Porsche Motorsport North America started rebuilding engines for Singer just 2 years ago...

Thanks for sharing. ^^^ Although I don't understand the world seeing singer for their world class finish. I have yet to see one that comes close to factory fit and finish. Some of the early cars were atrocious. Carbon weave showing through the paint, gaps and what I found underneath I could have fabricated in my garage using tin snips and scrap pieces. Just too many chopping up 964's for their vision of what the 964 should be. Sadly only the RS's and specialty 964's will remain at this rate. I hear they are in financial wows as well. If they fold some people could be out some huge money.

Non-story, Porsche filed to dismiss.
No doubt Singer elected to settle out of court. Taking on Porsche wouldn’t end well one imagines.
