Default Flat tow a 964?

We're thinking of flat towing our 964 behind our RV. Anyone ever flat tow their 964? Did you need to make any modifications?

Class A motorhome owner and 964 C4 owner.

That is the last car on earth I would ever think of flat towing. I doubt Porsche even has any technical information on this.

Given how fussy the C4 system is and how much it costs to repair why would you risk flat towing it.

Go straight to a trailer (skip past dolly or flat towing). Preferably a fully enclosed trailer.

Never flat towed a 964, but I have flat towed a 911SC a few thousand miles. No issues (despite much hand wringing about it), you just have to leave the key in the ignition so that the front wheels are unlocked.
Of course, I'm assuming that you're talking about towing a rear wheel drive C2... No way you can flat tow a C4.

It’s probably a good idea if it’s going behind an RV, otherwise the front end will look like crap in short order!

I have a C2 not a, C4 manual transmission. Places where we want to camp will be difficult having a trailer.

I’m pretty sure you can accomplish this with out any damage but be sure it’s in nuetral or out of gear and pretty certain the steering would be locked, as long as this is a 964
on the 993:the drive block alarm might create a hurdle as in locked drive mechism but not that certain on that note…Bert

Have you checked the 964's Driver's Manual (?), mine gives guidance for C2 and C4 !
