993 gearbox conversion bracket
Hello
On my 964 I had a Porsche specialist fit a 993 C2 6 speed gearbox
I later noticed that they simply did not refit the small bracket with small bushings that is fitted close to the main transmission mount
I would like to order a replacement part but noticed that there are two different ones available one for 993 and one for 964 with probably a slightly different length
What I d like to know is if when fitting a 993 gearbox to a 964 the front gearbox cover used ( where the main transmission mount is ) is usually the 993 one or the 964 one ( they have different part numbers )
Same for the main gearbox big support bracket they have different part numbers but I guess it s the 964 one that is fitted
All of that to make sure that I order the right lenght replacement small bracket
Thanks

Are you referring to the metal brace bars that mount to the transmission tunnel or do you mean the torque buffering bracket which has rubber in the bottom ? Thanks Bert
