Default WTB: 964 OEM Cabrio roof rack -or- hardtop

Hi,

I am on the hunt for the elusive OEM Cabrio roof rack. I am also going to eventually add a hardtop so I'd like to grab the OEM roof bars as well.

I would pay a finder's fee for any leads that culminate in a purchase.

Thank you,

Jeff

We used old Thule rain gutter towers when we'd go skiing on our 90 C4 cab when I was a kid. On my 90 c4 coupe the Yakima round bar towers with an extension on the rear towers to compensate for the roofline worked great for hauling bicycles.

Totally an option - but I'm going to run out the clock a bit and see if an OEM set is taking up space in someone's attic. Thank you!

Curious. Tried searching without luck

do you have a picture of what you’re looking for?

I've never even heard of a roof rack for the 964 cabriolet, let alone an OEM part. That thing is wild, good luck! I'm guessing they didn't sell well in period but someone has to have one laying around.

That will afford a lot of patience and constantly checking e.g. eBay. Took me some years until finally I managed to find one.

Here's the part number for the base rack in case you don't have it yet:

Cabrio: 911 801 055 60
Coupé: 911 801 055 00

If you're looking for the ski-rail: I bought those new from Porsche 2 years ago.

Good Luck with your search!
