Spare Tyre Compressor
Have any of you guys got an idea as to whether or not the spare tyre inflator/compressor was a standard item with the 964?
I didnt get one with mine as the CD-changer had been placed inside the spare mounted to an MDF board, so I guess it got lost over time.
Question is, would a replacement be easy to get hold of?
TIA

Hi,
Please could someone post a picture of the OE compressor for a 964. There have been about 4 different ones on ebay in the UK, but I don't know which was a 964 item.
Thanks,
Ian

Ian,
it really may not be worth your while trying to source an original, except for entering a concourse. They deteriorate with age and make a lot of noise with no effect. My guess is it would be almost impossible to find an original-style one that still works. After market ones are more efficient, smaller, quieter (though still noisy).

Ok - thanks guys
Just returned from Halfords with my compressor, £24.99.
Works a treat and comes with it's own carrycase.
Hope I never have to use it now!!!
