Yes.....and No.
IIRC, 1994 only and only in a C4 and approximately 450 total?
Adrian would be the person to ask.
Ironically, there is one about a mile from my house....and I live in the middle of nowhere (I have cows for neighbors).....who would have thought.
They don't show up very often, but there are a few here:

Select '911 C4 Widebody 1994' from the pulldown menu and you get some thing like this:
http://www.porsche-classified.com/cg...&MaxYear=2006&
There were 3 listed as of tonight.
One of the cars on my 'things to do list'.

I believe they're all convertibles (American Roadsters) or ragtops (Speedsters) in the USA. I think 93/94 is the year they were available in the US. The workshop manual, though, says that the 92 model year had a widebody C2... maybe that's a non-US model, though.

We've been looking for a '93 RSA (blue, silver, black) for awhile with no luck. Thought a C2 widebody (if they were made) could be another alternative. Back to the RSA hunt.
Thanks,
Harold

As mentioned above the 94 C4 was produced with a turbo body shell (wide body)
The 92' america roadster was also produced with a Cab turbo flared body (2wd)
the Speedster was only available in narrow body (the 89 was either a wide or narrow body but all the ones exported to the US were Wide)
That's it except for Turbo's
So the answer to your original question is no wide body C2's were made
<edit> also Bob Linton's GS is a wide body (94') convertible w/hard top (& sunroof!)

No widebody C2 Coupes or Targas.
No widebody C4 Cabs or Targas.
Effectively no widebody Speedsters either, not for mere mortals.
Ciao,
Adrian.
