This is my first post on rennlist so let me short introduce myself and maybe more important, my Porsche.
As you can easily guess my name is Olaf and I am driving a 964.
I am 37 years old mechanical enigneer living in Stuttgart, Germany, where our beauties were build.

Even if I have 3hours of driving, I am a Nürburgring addicted. Thus I had to do some "slight" modifications on my '91 C2 over the last 4 years of ownership.
Usually you would need at least 2 P-cars to satisfy your track-day-passion on one hand and the sunshine-cruise-Family-tour-needs on the other.
As I could afford just one Porsche I had the goal to combine the comfort of the original C2 with nothing less than the track abilities and handling performance of an RS.

I bought a Mj 91, 964C2, maritim blue, power windows, AC, full leather but without sunroof and rear wiper a good base for an RS clone.
I installed, RS Suspension, RS Brakes front and rear, RS door panels and steering wheel.
In case of track use I change the full electric Turbo seats with RS-Recaros and a Heigo CS-roll Bar.

With 8+9,5 Cup Rims the car is only 70kg (155lbs) over a factory RS. But to be even more competative the powertrain has some mods too:
1.) I installed a '95 993 6-Speed gearbox with diff lock.
2.) The engine is a completely new build 3,8l, incl. RSR cam shafts, race exhaust, single mass flywheel, GT3 clutch …. producing 320HP@6400rpm and 375Nm (280 = ft/lbs)@5400rpm.

Lets hope that I've not been too boring, and my English is halve way understood.

For those of you, who had read until here some pics (sorry for the size):

Great looking car Olaf. I've always wondered why there aren't more German people on Rennlist. And to have the 'Ring that close...we'd all be going through a lot more tires and brake pads. Welcome to Rennlist.

Thanks Chris,
there also exist some good German boards too => you may find me there as well

If it were just brakes and tires...

that was about a year ago.....
