Eddie, it's great to see you on Rennlist, I must admit that I am more into circuit racing myself but a couple of my lads are big into drag racing (Paul has a 600hp fwd Honda Civic and Pete is building a 800hp awd Nissan Pulsar) and have mentioned your name on more than one occasion!

WRT the advertising "issues" in general the moderators/owners are all pretty cool as they know that the specialists have a lot to offer the forum members in terms of technical knowledge and experience, so you will not be in trouble for having a link to your business in your signature.

As long as you don't blatantly plug your new products or projects you will be fine, just don't do what I did and get sucked into a long technical discussion about a 9m engine conversion before I became a sponsor, John rightly pulled the plug until I coughed up the sponsorship funds.

Anyway, just what do you have to do to a poor unsuspecting 964 to get it into the 9's?!?

As far as the motor build I'm going to be posting up more detailed pictures once the car is back from SEMA.

This isn't Eddie, I'm actually going to be running the shop with him and I take care most of the business sides of things with him.

The website is set up, we have an e-mail address and soon our entire shop will be set up it will probably be another month or so until its all up and running.

Eddie and I are planning however to get into circuit racing as well to build endurance motors etc.

origyns: And the details of how you got your 900+hp would be a very interesting read, unless you are saving it for the website.....and I thought I was getting somewhere with my drilled airbox and primary by-pass. Sigh.

But hey, my mileage is probably just a little better....

I'm always happy to read about groundbreaking conversions so I will look forward to reading about the car in more detail - in the meantime I wish you both the best of luck with your new venture.

When you do find the time to tell us more, do have a chat with John D about your posts though as it is frustrating when you have meaningful threads deleted.

When the car is back from SEMA (end of this week/beginning of next week) I'll definately get in depth pictures and do a write up on exactly what was done.

I will say however that the car is a daily driver, it is not strictly a drag car, Eddie actually drove it from Florida to California, then from California to Las Vegas and back, and now will be driving it from Cali all the way back to New Jersey. Keeping the same legacy as he did with the last 911.

I will speak to John D, I did actually just recently e-mail the address under the sponsors link to get a price quote on how much being a sponsor will cost.

Didn't Eddie Bellos Porsche 964 use the original motor and not one of a 993?

I remember Bellos car pulling wheelies when I was a little kid at Etown. Seems like yesterday but a lifetime ago...

I believe I saw this car run at the Texas Mile. Does anyone know what happened to it or if it still being raced?

Pretty sure he wrecked it during a run and retired back around 2014. I remember seeing pictures of his 964 doing wheelies on the cover of Super Street magazine!
