Hang on guys. Please don't assume that if you're on this thread that one will be assured. I need to be sure we can get the parts together, and to make a package that will work for everyone. That process will take a little while, and I am dependent on others to provide parts and know how that I don't have.

I will set up a sign up page with a web form and then you can throw your hats in the ring. I won't be able to keep track of these requests when they're in threads all over Rennlist. I hope you understand.

Hello Hawk,

Nice to be active on the board again. The shock of relocation, moving a few times, etc, have forced me to put many things on the back burner. But now that I am settled in my new place, and my garage and small workshop are set back up I'm looking forward to visiting Rennlist regularly. I need to get a full membership again. There is the glimmer of hope I can help Tom get another run of these OBD1 tools going. But it will be a few weeks before I can figure it all out again.

If not the complete unit, I'd be willing to go for just the circuit board.

Maybe options and their pricing could be listed.
  • Complete unit (finished product)
  • Kit (circuit board & components)
  • Circuit board

On the turbo's it works for the airbag and brake computers but not for the engine management system. Maybe climate control as well.

Is this still going on? I'd like to get the kit or just the PCB. Thanks, Peter

Please add me to the list (or tell me where to join it). I think I need one, too. These 964 are veddy complex! Especially since my 89 isn't supposed to have this, yet does.

I've got a circuit board(if I can find it) and a complete unused unit w/ 993 OBD2 style connector(trapezoidal)

I never used it because I bought a Hammer, I'll sell for what I paid + shipping
