Thanks,

Since I bought a Hammer I don't need mine any more. Never even opened it up to install on my Laptop. You can have it for what I paid.

This is for one w/ an OBD2 style trapezoidal connector.

Hi Ricardo,

I'm still rather new to the 964 world, but I am very interested in all this scantool stuff.

I have an up to date laptop, but nothing else. I understand you are the purveyor of the rest of the bits (cable, software?).

What exactly do I need ('90 964 C2) and do you still have any?

Hello Dwane,
Well, the time to market for my hammer replacement rivals only to the delays seen with microsoft products....

I've been working on my project as time permits, and in the middle of things, I've changed the processor I'm planning on using...so there's that learning curve. I'm in the process of learning all the error codes from my Bosch hammer via a PCB that emulates the ecu's in the car. I see no problems in having all the functions of the real hammer in my rendition.

In addition to this, I'm moving to Kauai within the next 2 weeks and I've been busy with getting things ready for the move. Unfortunately, my 964 will be in CA for awhile, but I'm taking my hammer, my laptop and test equipment, sunscreen and surf boards. I'll be commuting to/from the mainland every couple of months so I'll have access to my car for tests, but eventually I'll need a C4 to test on. I haven't seen a 964 on Kauai all the times I've been there.

I don't know when my hammer replacement will be ready.

Kevin

I have your current tool and am interested in the 'hammer' upgrade, so my '89 C4 in Tx is available if you need a mule.

Default Scantool / Hammer replacement

Hi Kevin,

Would very much like to have a Scantool or a Hammer replacement. My car is a ROW 1996 Carrera 4 with the immobiliser.

Thanks, Dominic

Hey Guys,

I'm very new to this forum, so some words to introduce myself.
I have a 911SC (1979) since 2004 and bought myself a 964 C2 convertible (1991) about a month ago. But what a difference to diagnose the car! and that's my problem now, as I'm experiencing some strange behaviour and the Scan-tool could come in very handy.

So does anybody know where I could still get one?
Thanks!

@ValveFloat,

tx for the tip, I'm going to try whether my 1991 built beauty also has this CEL installed since I thought this was only built into AMerican 964's as of 91 and mine's a ROW (Italian to be precise) 1991.

@Gary C2 UK,

Sounds good! I'll be glad to buy it from you. I'll try to PM you...although I'm not sure whether i'll be succesfull as I don't know which "button" I should click on to get you PM-ed

Thanks a lot guys!

Hi all, Boscobilly has sent payment for the Scantool (many thanks I will post it tomorrow) so it's now sold...

Many thanks to those who expressed an interest, hope you are able to find one eventually.
