The options label says that it should be slate grey.

It was completely repainted by Strosek when the body kit was added.

Not sure that Strosek kept it as slate grey because it looks more brown to me.

Greeting all. 1st post on the 964 board (recently picked up an '84).
Does anyone know how many were painted KRM?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the 964 board. I don't think I've seen any 964's in that colour! (You mention an '84 is it that which is in KRM?) It's almost impossible to know how many there are of each colour (I'm not sure even the factory kept records of this).

If it's your 964 could you post a pic and the colour code - I guess L998 or L999?

Thanks. The car is off-site. Will post the code and a photo when I have them.

I bet it's the same car as Tripleblack mentions an "84" and he probably meant a "94" and that KRM is a MY94 as well.

That's crazy if so. I didn't even realize what Triple was saying in his post. Randomly thought it was time to add something...

Sorry folks. My (hasty) post was unclear & ambiguous. I have a KRM 911, & a friend is looking for a 964 in the same color. He asked if/how many 964's were made in it. I have no idea, & figured this thread was the place to ask.

Thanks for the pics 911Jetta.

As I discussed in my earlier post -

This is more like the slate grey I would expect:

Even with a difference in lighting I don't think mine is slate grey .... more like slate brown to my eyes.

I love unusual colors but I think I would have a hard time driving that car. Might be good for a salesman for pepto-bismol tho.

Did you happen to buy this one out of West Chester PA? I watched a stone grey with this burgundy interior sell on ebay a couple of months back. I drooled over the burgundy for many days but noticed it listed too late to get a PPI done on it.

Regardless of where it came from well done on the purchase! It's a beautiful combo.
