Funny you should say "wife #1" as I know a local guy who is 65+ who always introduces his wife as "my first wife" and it never ceases to crack me up, but some people don't know how to take him and get oddly uncomfortable when he says that.

My Father always used the same line with a very serious, deadpan delivery. We thought it was great as kids.

My current avatar is a photo of my wife crossing the start/finish line at California Speedway during the PCA Zone 8 Festival of Speed. She really enjoyed the track tour.
My favorite avatar is a sepia toned photo I took of my 964 with my fathers 1968 912 reflecting in the door. That was the maiden voyage of the 912 after a 3 yr restoration project and the reason I was hooked on Porsches at the age of 8 yrs old.
A large 16x20 version hangs in my home office.

I have some more creative shots, but this pic was taken on the first sunny day after I bought the car, almost 2 years ago, and now 20K miles have passed... I was playing around with a polarizing filter to remove reflections and got this saturated RED shot. BTW, has anyone mentioned that Red cars are faster?
Now, I'm tempted to change my avatar more freqently.
