Default Cup Car DME part numbers

Does anyone have the part number for the DME for the RS or the Carrera Cups? I have found an interesting DME box today with harness, but the part number in not recognized by PET. UNfortunately, box is at my office so I will post number tomorrow.

Also, will a 92 DME box plug into a 89 wiring harness?? I am assuming that since the 89 was a "blend" of the 964, with some left overs from the 3.2, that some things on the intake side must have to be updated.

It isn't the Porsche part number that is important, it is the Bosch part number. 0 261 200 483 is the number you want for a Euro RS, USA Cup, Euro Cup.

Thanks Geoffrey - I'll check tomorrow.

I looks like at least the throttle body mechanism and associated micro switches will have to be updated for this to work, as well as the intake runners. The mass air flow unit looks the same...

The Cup cars used the plastic manifold. The ECU will work with the aluminum manifold.
