And a tease that is... Did your camera not have a wide enough angle lens? Just kidding. I also am looking forward to pics of the whole car. Sure would be fun to see how it does in the club race!

So, I've read all of your threads documenting this car at least 2x each. I've also had that big coffee table book "Porsche 911" for about 2 years, and I've always been amazed at that turquoise roadster with the 3.8 in it from the factory (not to mention the matching color wheels and one-off rear wing). Reading that book tonight, I finally JUST realized that they are the same car. I've always thought your car was WAY frickin cool, and it just became about 100x times cooler after making the connection.

I'm gonna have to drool on the pictures some more now!

This is great!! Thank you Robert!! Will you be there? Would love to meet the man behind all this. Are you planning an informal get together during the event?

I am planning to come to Colorado. And I have invited a few friends who have worked on the car. As to a club race, at 2200 lbs with a motor in excess of 400HP (we are trying for more), it should do OK. Of course, if the car were stripped like a true club racer, it would weigh less than 1800 lbs and then I would think it would do well.

P.S. Working on graphics, any ideas?

Bob,

glad to see that the car is on the move for the unveiling. Hard-top or soft-top?

Thanks again for letting me have a peek!

Like the nice clean door handles, not noticed those on the car before.

The door handles are plastic with pocketed aluminum triggers.

Looks great Robert,

I will say that green s the most spectacular color I have ever seen on a Porsche. If any of you have a chance to see this car don't miss the opportunity, it is a work of art in so many ways.
