Color coat still hand painted. 15 hours start to finish. 117 production stages. 20 911 variants plus several Boxter lines. Happy looking employees, ergonomics a priority. Impressive to say the least.

Pretty amazing they can keep all the options for every car straight on that production line.

I thought it was 16 911 variants. That's interesting about the white, red, yellow & black primers.

The body shop stuff was pretty cool. As an engineer its interesting to me how different manufacturers put the body in White together before it gets painted.

That was a pretty cool episode. Wish I could have gotten a tour of the rest of the plant when I was out there. I just had the Engine line tour and the Assembly line tour.
