Came across this today. It's old - but a wonderful (if tedious to load) review of the 964.
http://www.porsche964.nl/reviews/964-1991.php (the top one - "balance of power") Best line? "The Porsche will make you feel good about yourself". Read the full review to fully grasp the gravity of this statement. Enjoy! RK

thanks, good read. interesting that the reviewers wrung out 0-60 in 4.9 and 1/4mi. in 13.5 which is much quicker than C2's are generally credited with (low 5's)....but it does come in almost exactly where Car&Driver reported with their full road test of a 92 C2 cab (0-60 4.9, 1.4mi. 13.6....in both cases faster than vette vert & ferrari mondiale cab of the day).

I pulled away from a light the other night - it was cold out - dry roads and the car was running super strong. Sure seemed like 60 came up in less than 5 seconds by my casual count. Dead stock C2 (unless the PO slipped in a chip!)
