I've looked through all the posts I can regarding wheel sizes and offsets and i'm in danger of becoming confused. Can anyone shed any light on this please.
I'm looking at Cup 1s. Spec for the wheels are.... Front tyres 215/45ZR17 Rear Tyres 235/40ZR17 90W Front alloys Borbet 71/2J x 17H2 Rear alloys Borbet 9J x 17H2 They have no ET numbers stamped near the valves. I also read somewhere that Borbet made these wheels under licence from Porsche. I'm looking to bolt these straight on to my '90 C2 without any messing about. Are these the right ones for my car. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers

There is another thread (below) about Cup1 wheels that includes a breakdown of all of the various sizes and what the ET numbers are for each.

I'm not familiar with wheels made by Borbet but if they're like the mille miglia reps then you might find the offsets embossed on the rear of the spokes.
The width of the rear tyre sounds too narrow for a 9J rim. 255/40 17 would be the norm.
