Speaking of rare colors, looks what's for sale:

raspberryroadster,
I gave you a couple days... you don't even offer your car to the brothers at RL first (or did I miss the announcement)?

no never posted- but mentioned on a posting plus a month ago was likely returning to japan and was considering sale (exactly same comments as in pelican), was hoping for expression of interest -rec'd none. not sure what importation issues are to USA (this is a Cdn registered car....for Can if car is plus 15yrs, no issue, but i understood for USA was more dated timeframe).
happy to hear from anyone

rr,
Good luck with the sale, you have a very special car.

You shouldn't have any problems getting another nice 911 in Japan. I enjoy checking out the stock list of these companies:

My wife has a 93 Wimbeldon Green Metalic with tan interior C2. After looking at the FS picture for a few days, it kind of grew on me. It is strange to know there another one of the same color in NJ. Most people are drawn to the car because the color is very unusual. After 2-3 yrs, I must say that has grown on me for being unusal. I guess may be it put me in touch with my feminie side

thanks, had it for almost a yr...1st porsche & will not be last.
we had considered boxing it up/taking it back, but cost is about $4000 and quite frankly there are too many seriously low miler 964/993's on the market.

best site for used porsche is carsensor which is basically supported by all used car dealers/brokers in japan.
here is current listing of 964/993 on the market (about 350)....i know its in japanese, but once you get the hang of it easy to navigate. once the yen weakens this will again be good source of used cars (esp for canadians because of ease of importation)
http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/sea...1989&YMAX=1998

if anyone wants help navigating the page/site/info on a specific car send me a pm.

not to totally hijack site re the wimbleongen gruen...it remains iIMO highly prized color and perhaps more "conservative" than rasp red/ametyhst or for the very brave (or perhaps turbo/rs owners) rubystone.

This is definitely a more sophisticated color. I'm not sure if the pictures below are "exactly" the same...
Do you know for certain what color that is? Is it Turquoise (Tuerkis) Metallic - Porsche 964 color code 35X? Source: http://howtoporsche.com/all-models-i...codes-by-year/

This is a very old thread so most likely won't get an answer. The car originally posted is Wimbledon. I almost purchased a 94 C4 wide body in this color that I regret passing on. I had a friend with a 993TT in Turquoise which was darker and I liked a little better than Wimbledon but I think the 993 shape lends itself to turquoise better, both are great colors if you like greens or blues.

Thanks Anthony. I was actually asking about this picture (https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...-964-c4-c3.jpg), as it looks like a match to a 964 that I've seen with the exact color code sticker of "Turquoise (Tuerkis) Metallic 35X". I was trying to find additional pictures to help verify.

thanks.

Turquoise metallic was available on the 964 but I have to admit I don't think I have ver seen one in person. It most likely is the same color and is a bit darker than Wimbledon. GL
