The center bolt hole is used in both position. This move the suspension out about an inch on each side.
Another change that must be done when you move the lower position to the outside is the upper shock tower needs to be reversed. Unbolt the shock tower and rotate it 180 degrees. This is the proper position for the upper shock tower when changing to the wide body position.
Thanks Gus for the reply. That's a straight forward explanation. The part with rotating the upper shock tower by 180 degrees was't clear to me. But makes sense, it's a very easy way to keep the alignment of the strut the same.
