Default Comfortability question with Heavy set people.

I'm going on a road trip tomorrow with a relative who is heavy-set, I noticed how the 964's cabin is small and cozy but thats one of the things I like about it, but my question is should she be able to fit comfortably in the passenger seat?

I have stock leather seats, no fancy racing buckets.

How heavy set? Like a rough estimate of height/weight.

People have varying opinions on what is heavy set nowadays.

so if you have stock comfort seats.....vs sports with high bolsters may not be an issue, issue may be ( if really on a "weighty side" ) is getting in & getting out....they are low & small....

If other cars' stock seats don't bother her, there's nothing about your 964's stock seat that will give her heartburn.

(And unless this gravitationally-challenged human is carrying along additional poundage wildly in excess of two kids, its nothing your 964 can't handle.)

Of course, your car's linear acceleration may not be as... adroit as you've come to expect. But nothin' seems a problem, here.

She should have no problem just tilt the seat back a bit.

also you might want to raise your suspension on that side so you don't go lopsided the whole ride

So it was a bit tight but she was comfortable and she wasn't obstructing the gear shifter ( was my main concern) I did notice a difference in acceleration though

I just did the longest road trip in our 964 over 600 miles round trip. It is a bit cramped. I am 6'3 and fit the car perfectly as long as I am driving, but when riding shotgun the floor on the passenger side is high and my knees get tired fast. On a long road trip I think I like our big SUV better. Boy am I getting old !

Default getting in and out

you might want to watch out for the door pocket as using for support could break and also opening the door to much could break the door stop, this could happen with anyone. why not just rent a car for the day??????? cheaper in the long run, or just use a different car.

Yeah I almost had a heart attack when she tried to get out she was pulling on everything and I heard a snap my heart sank turned out it was just the door pocket panel and I finally showed her how to get out (for the third time)
