have one of each. I really like the 996TT. I guess I am just a old geezer that likes a bit of comfort with my fun especially on trips

Went from a 993 to a 996 to a 997 then back to a 964-based Paul Stephens car for the same reason. Water-cooled was comfortable and modern but didn't feel special enough and couldn't get the sound of my old 993 out of my head...

Pics of that bad boy? Suggest you start a thread with both pictures and description of your car, please. Looks like a great one, love the longhood look.

I've only seen a very limited information on these special cars. Paul Stephens makes such wonderful cars, we'd love to see more details.

Being fast is not always fun !
I have had 3 928's, a 968 and now the 964 and a Boxster. The 964 is a completely different animal compared to the other P-cars I've had.
The 964 has RS suspension, 18" wheels, RS flywheel and Sparco seats. Light, swift and raw. Mean to the bone. Remeber that the Euro RS was turned down by the journalists of the day, for being too harsh.
I have tested a Panamera Turbo with PDK and 500 hp. I have tested a 997 GTS with PDK and 408hp. They are extremely fast and engineered beyond this world. Never mind 0-60. That is a phenomenon of the past. 0-120 is more relevant. 0-180 is quite relevant. They do it with such authority, that You are just giggling behind that steering wheel. But after awhile You get a bit bored. You dont have the nearness and the feeling of cornering on the brink of disaster, that You are able to do with the 964.
Much more fun to drive that old tractor.
PS:I dont believe it makes any difference whether the engine is water- or oil/aircooled. It is the whole package.
