It was a great day out and good to meet up with two other 964 owners. My C4 was a bit outclassed in the power and braking department but performed faultlessly. Food for thought re modifications. Thanks to Cheeksyboy for the passenger lap.

As I mentioned last week, it's a bottomless pit of money mods take you down!
Thanks to Cheeksyboy for the passenger lap.
Always a pleasure, just don't go faster than me!

Speaking of which.....the pace of that 996 turbo in your video gives you some food for thought for a future trip.

As per last post, joined Boxsey and Co for evening session at Zandvoort. With overtaking permissible on inside, outside, over and under, brake zone and everywhere else it made for an exciting evening!

The fact that BMWs kept dumping oil and engines expired brought out many, many red flags was annoying and limited track time, as did my COMPETE brake failure after 2 hot laps (with PSM disabled) so ended my evening... but it was fun..

Oh, sorry about the re-focussing, it's the camera on my phone this time!

Nice! Just over a second quicker than my best in the CR last year (2.13 video time)...and your first time with no brakes! Think you would find the 964 a much better tool for Zandvoort (on a day when noise isn't an issue to worry about).

Thanks mate, agreed, should be able to do something like 2:05'ish I recon as I know several corners I can take a gear higher and brake less!

Had a fun Sunday at Rockingham Motor Speedway near Corby.

Used my new 360 degree camera at the end of the day, best watched on a tablet or phone!

Default Cheeksyboy..

Your car sounds great. I haven't seen you on here in a while. What all have you done to your car? I miss the yellow treads. I knew immediately who was driving. Jack

Hi Jack

Yeah, been away for a while livin' life with my wife and son.

But now I'm back!

Yeah, I miss the wrap too, but it had to go....

Nothing new on the car, just a slightly older (and wiser) driver!!!!

You need to get across here some time!

Regards

Grant
