O/T OMG!!!
I´ve already done about 1000 kms in my new to me Cayman S and I am absolutely amazed with the handling of this car at high speeds.
All other features of the car are good to v.good but I still miss my 964 (especially the sound of the engine) but the handling is really stunning especially for someone that comes from a 5 year ownership of a 964 C2.
Hats off to my two friends with near standard 964 RSAs that last year did the same laps time as the winners of the Cayman S class in the (ex F-1) Buenos Aires track, these two guys with a Cayman S could very well take the fight to the 997 class (or higher)

I had a S a couple years ago when my 996TT was in for service. I was a lot of fun to drive and so much smaller than the TT more 964 size.

Burning Brakes
Had a 997 and the Cayman S always had me a little nervous when they pulled up next to me.
I've driven a few and they are great cars, both on the track and the street. A year and a bit ago I almost went for an R... happy I stuck with the 964... but I don't drive the 964 really far or really fast anyway (apart from the occasional burst), so it serves the purpose I want it to serve.
Why did you change?
