Default White dial kit

HI There,

has anyone fitted a white dial kit in the 964 before.

Im planning to do it tomorrow once I get a bit more info, im specifically worried about (not getting the clocks out) but the needles for the dials, do these just pull off and go back without recalibration.

Help appreciated.

I just finished mine not long ago. I messed up one gauge assembly,( the needle wouldn't move freely) it was really hard to get off. I then had to send it to Hollywood speedo. $250 later I'm good to go! While on the phone with him he kindly told me how to deal with a tough one next time. It will require minor tool modification making some thin 90degree needle nose pliers to hold the shaft under the needle while pulling up on the needle to get it off of the shaft. A lot of people have no issues unlike myself. I highly recommend using a digital camera and taking a pic of each gauge needles resting place. It helped out a lot for me. I had to remove the steering wheel surround to get the tach in and out. If you have any questions or concerns post it up here to share.

Just did mine recently, looks great but can be a bit tricky. I broke the needles on my fuel/gas gauge twice. Be careful when removing the needles, take your time and use the needle removal tool.

Guys,

Thanks a million for the advice, softly softly sprocket seems to be the best route.

I will update you once I have done it.

Again thanks a million.
