Cup steering wheel
The previous owner fitted a cup steering wheel to my car just prior to me buying it. Is there any obvious way to know of its genuine without pulling it off the car as he didn't provide any info..

That is a very nice wheel indeed! Perfect size for a 964.
The embossed crest signifies that it is a real Porsche Sport wheel.
They don't get much better IMO. Clean it and oil it and enjoy. They go for about $600.00 in the States.

Correct. The one pictured by the OP is the original item made by ATWIE for Porsche. Enamelled badge jobbies are not OE; not sure who makes those?

Also, stitching and seam locations are different on the aftermarket (Italian made) "930S" steering wheels than the factory OE ones. The OP pic is definitely an OE one.
Cups just came w/ the standard, late 80's vintage, non-airbag steering wheel, correct?
