Default $120,000 964 anyone?

I have seen many close to the $100k mark 964s for sale ('94 Turbos or other rare cars)

But this one takes the cake for most expensive 964 I've seen for sale.

Anyone know why he's asking that much? It's not even a dealer with a large markup.. private seller!

I'm guessing you missed the description.

Original car from the movie "Bad Boys" with Will Smith and Martin, Car is all original, in perfect condition.

The original "Bad Boys" car is reportedly still in a collection (Drendel Family). Plus, the original car had a black interior...the claim isn't looking so good (maybe why it's been on Autotrader for months now).

However, 3.6 Turbo prices have increased substantially in the past two years. While $120,000 seems high for a car with 60k miles, it isn't ridiculous if it's well documented and cared for.

Ahhh, I think the seller is being shady by being ambiguous and lying by omission.

Obviously the car from Bad Boys was a black 3.6 Turbo, and this is a black 3.6 Turbo, so he's being ambiguous and hoping a buyer will not realize the omission and fill in their own conclusion. The reality is it's a car just like the car in the movie, but not the official movie car. What a douche.

The movie car had black interior anyway. This one is tan.

douche bag sales pitch as it leads one to believe it is actual movie car.

But truth be told, they are nice cars regardless of the movie fame.

The film opened the eyes of those who were never really 911 fans to become 911 fans. Especially the 1994 turbo.

I would rather a 993 turbo for the same money.

this car has been for sale for quite some time. He keeps using the Bad Boys car line which we all know not to be true. The actual BB car is still in negotiations AFAIK and the price is considerably more than what he is asking for this imposter.

A 3.6 with 36k miles recently sold for $139k and Sloan has one of the 17 package Turbo S cars he is asking $550k for. Who knows where these cars are heading but prices are rising quickly.

This car is a $90k car tops but wait long enough he might get his price.

Thought I read somewhere that they borrowed a few for exterior shots. Little fuzzy... read something to that effect many years ago.

Anyways...

Actually there were two full 94 turbos and a shell that was used. One was the car owned by BB1 here on the forums It had full leather interior (black) with crested seats and black calipers. This is the car in the pictures I am posting and was the car in the opening scenes. this car sold to the Drendel collection.

The other had red calipers no crests and was used in the scenes at the end with all the explosions. and the shell had no crests on the seats but all of them had black interiors. There is still no info on the whereabouts on the car with the red calipers.

This car has the same connection to the movie as mine does it is a 94 turbo 3.6 and that is it.
