Hi any information on 1991 c4 cab as a daily driver, and used in light snow conditions. Any help is appreciated.

That's what it's for. 964 heat is terrific as long as the hvac is working right- plenty of flow and warm air in about a minute.

My C4 is the best winter car I've ever had, in a list that includes a 78 Wagoneer, a first-gen awd Eagle Talon, a couple of Audi 4000 Quattros, 4 Subarus, and an awd Honda CRV.

C4 loves the snow. Hates the salt.

A C4 in light snow is fantastic. Best snow car (for light snow) I've had. Once it gets a little deep the ground clearance becomes an issue.

Can't comment on the cab part, but my coupe is a daily driver rain, snow whatever and it has been great.
My cousin has a 997 C4S cab and is his daily driver as well. No complaints from him and he previously had a coupe.
Rust? That's a worry, we'll see how we fared come spring...

I drive a 90 C4 coupe year round. Sees lots of snow and crud. Vehicle is great in the snow. The rocks/gravel we use on our roads has beaten the crap out of the front but I absolutely love driving it in all conditions.

We have a company Jeep and I will choose the C4 for highway miles most times. Highly recommend it.

Talking about driving a 964 in the snow/salt makes me cringe. Please stop the abuse! The poor cars.

Having one in my garage and NOT driving it for even a week, let alone a whole winter, would be mental torture!

Oh yeah, forgot to add, be forewarned, the wipers generally suck and the defrost works well but is LOUD. Heat works incredibly well though - don't miss heated seats (much).

Please stop the nonsense. They are machines, carefully designed and manufactured TO BE USED. You want to park yours in the garage and polish it instead of drive that's your bidness, but to imply that it's abuse to use a car for the purpose it was intended (gasp!) is ridiculous.

Trust me, my 964's don't sit in the garage. I put 22k miles on my cab in little over a year, and have a truck for work. I drive the **** out of them. I just drive the 4matic 550 wagon when there is salt down. Being a C2 has something to so with it. I was mostly kidding. Do as you please with your cars. The cab was a CA car, and my new targa is a MA car that prob saw a day or two of the roads being still wet with salty water. What a difference on the suspension etc with rusty bolts and such. The 73 will never see a spec of salt. And the 80 coupe has never seen snow till I had no room In the garage and it had to sit in the driveway and get snowed on. That is just water.

I'd keep the early car out of the salt too!

My C4 Cab has been a daily driver for 6 years with no missed beats. It is of course in Adelaide where the temperature extremes are a bit different - it DOES NOT like 40 degree C plus days ! But it has never missed a beat at warming the cabin in 0-10 degrees C to toasty warm in about 2 minutes. Gotta love heat exchanging air flow heaters from a 911 :-). I also find the 4WD is really good in totally slippery oily wet conditions....really grippy and much more clever than one might give it credit for given that it is 20 years old. Get good tyres though.....the cars reward good tyre choice....to be frank avoid michelin and pirelli as they are not that great at performing at temperature extremes.
Buy the car and enjoy the ride......they TOTALLY rock as a car in dreadful weather....great 4WD, light weight and good contact patch ratios mean they have awesome traction in almost any conditions.
