Default Project Dog Lipstick

I sold my Grey C4 at the beginning of December

But on December 1st I bought this

This is the goal

with a few different bits.

I promtly got a new engine lid with lifting spoiler as the RSA whale tail isnt to my taste, i also sold the 993 RS steering wheel for the same reason.
Its had a full engine rebuild 7000 miles ago and also has KW V1 coilovers set up to RS spec and corner weighted so only thing i need to worry about is the body.

So yesterday afternoon i started to pull it apart.

Some clean bare metal behind the wing

Not as much corrosion as i expected

Bit of corrosion and a hole behind the left shark fin

and a good bit of bodgery going on too

Left rear wing is almost perfect

Right rear wing has a bit of corrosion

Front wings are also very good, i thought i was going to have to get new wings, but a bit of new metal on the front corners will suffice.

Left rear bumper mount was completly rotted through

Nice pile of bits

Also my Stinless Haywood and Scott exhaust, has a decat pipe too.

This is my steering wheel which will be accompanied by a Rubystone Rev counter complete with Lemass logo.

I have also got a 993 front scuttle panel and wipers, 993 door handles, 993 rear quarter glass, RS rear screen with hidden heater elements and RS front bumper ducts.

Started my custom rear bumper on friday too

The tow eye will be located behind the number plate.

Will be shortening my front bumper recess to suit

Also got new wheels but the are a surprise

Great stuff and swift approach
What´s the reason for selling one and buying the other?

this should be EPIC! Lots of planning foreshadows great things --- so the wheels aren't BBS?

.. so did the slate grey one stay on RL?
Lucky new owner.

re the thread title ... well let's just hope that's the working name

Lol Fuch
My grey one is now in the hands of lensey
I was going to repaint the grey one ruby but thought it would be wrong to undo all my hard work.

Timescale. ASAP really. I need it for Le Mans this year but want to take it to a few shows before hand to promote Lemass.

Hiwind. I didn't say no to BBS

Go for it Tom - this is going to be mega!

In the interior thread there's a nice carbon and alacantra set up - would continue the seats theme...

That's one beautiful gray Porsche you unloaded! What a find for the buyer!! What was the country of origin, as I noticed its void of side markers (turn indicators) that are required in UK??

It's a uk car. I just removed the side reps. Don't actually need them for MOTas you can see the ones in the front bumper from the side

Can't wait to see the project unfold. Great choice of colour and loving the custom work like that rear bumper
