I actually think the Targa (not a great fan of these but!) in Black looks like a great car to keep original. from the photos it looks super clean.

Asking is not getting. That's the asking price. Sale price could be less. You won't know until you ask.

make them an offer at what you are allowed to spend.

There is a C2 I posted today up for $26K, supposedly had $17k paid job and $8k of engine work, but the interior is shot.
