Hey guys,

I am currently looking at a triple black '89 C4 in Albuquerque, NM and was wondering if anyone lives nearby that could go check out the car for me.

I have talked to the owner and he seems fairly upfront about the car. The motor was rebuilt 500 miles ago by Ollies Engineering. My only 2 hold backs are that the owner reassembled the engine after it was professionally machined, ect instead of letting the shop handle the entire rebuild and the price......35K.....although the owner was very upfront about negotiations being acceptable.

The car has brand new bilsteins, h and r reds, 18" rims and tires and the interior appears to be ok. The exterior looks to be a 6 to 7 out of 10 with a few minor issues.

Any thoughts, ideas, advice? Any tips on buying an 89? as opposed to other year models?

Anyone live close by?
