Default Looking for recommendations for Columbus OH body shop

My son and I are in the middle of restoring my '89 C4, we've got the front fenders off and now need to find a body shop that can do a repair of the drivers side windshield cowl area. I have a crack in the cowl, and heavy rust in the window frame and fender mating area. I've ordered the repair section from Restoration Design and now need a body shop that can do this work.

We also need to replace the left side rear bumper mounting reinforcement but that isn't a precision replacement, also rust areas at the back of the rear fenders (both sides).

I'm most worried about a shop that can properly cut out the cowl section and weld in the replacement.

TIA.

Hey, I'm actually in the Columbus area myself, and have been considering getting this kind of work done as well.

There's really only one shop I trust here and that's Rife's in Westerville. They've done top notch work on all of my previous cars and I'm hoping an older Porsche won't make them uncomfortable. Beside them, I'm afraid I wouldn't know where else to take my car, but I'm pretty confident with their ability, as they do all the work for the high-end Germain dealers around town.

Default Columbus Repair

Look at Autobody Specialists on West 5th. They do great work. I know many guys from car clubs in the area that use them including myself (I do painting). I've seen their British and German work and it has been excellent. They completed a 1967 Mini for me and it has been one of the better ones in the country.

3 different shops all in the area all do great work. MSG me if you need more info. All three work on Porsche's and all high end sports cars. First 2 have shops behind there house's but don't let that scare you. They are top notch.

Good to know gents, I've been considering getting some work done to my own car and haven't done my own homework yet.
