Default The next newbie...

I hope all of you are having a great labor day weekend. For those that don't know what labor day is, I hope your weekend is rockin'!

I am a long time lurker, 4th time poster, and ready to come out of the porschephile closet. I am a family man, stationed in San Antonio, TX, and have a 90 C4 in GP white that wants to be sexier. I have been enjoying her for the last 3 years of ownership but have committed more time to my family and career. The remaining steam I have left is not enough to quickly transform my C4 but I have been slowly giving her a facelift; she's still very stock, though.

When you look at the picture, you will find a run-of-the-mill GP White 964 C4; however, as we all know, any Porsche is far sexier than most cars out there. Plus, she is all mine! I guess it's like having a Victoria Secrets model. Those beautiful vixens on the catwalk or at a photoshoot are all "somewhat similar" but you would be a fool to nitpick how she looked under a magnifying glass. You would just thank the gods you are lucky enough to have one!

Nice meeting all of you and I look forward to the fun we will have in the name of Porsche! I'm off to Pelican to make an intro there.

Great 964 and some nice hill country roads to drive through around San Antonio. Enjoy.

Agree, especially the "nine sex four"

Love the pic. Great setting for a great looking car.

Wow very nice car you have there. Nice back ground. San Antonio looks like a sweet spot. Hope to visit there some day.

There's nothing run-of-the-mill about a 964

Beautiful with its D90s and flag-mirrors - I wouldn't change a thing. They're getting harder to find in stock form.

Nice color and it goes well with the orange indicators also (my favorites).

Actually, the backdrop is a part of the Napa Valley in NorCal. One of the most beautiful things you can drive by is a scenic valley filled with colorful autumn leaves of the massive amount of vineyards. When I was stationed in CA, I had to do this drive before coming to TX... and it was great! Here in San Antonio, there are roads through the hill country but they are not lined with great autumn colors, even in autumn...

Thanks for the praise!

Hmmmm, a passionate purist! It is not everyday that someone appreciates the 911 in its natural state. I honestly thought about changing the flags for aeros, but I am torn. What do all of you think?

Great looking 964. I personally really like the flag mirrors. I say keep. I also like d90s but couldn't resist new fuchs. My d90s were in great need of refurbishment, so I didn't want to wait. I also like row stock ride height. Keep your flags! Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist

Default Thanks!

Very nice reception indeed. Thanks for the kudos and great words!

To bring sexy back, I will soon rebuild all four calipers and do the obligatory bleed. Since I will be getting drenched in brake fluid I will bleed both PDAS locks. Now to find a gently used PDT999 or UDT999...

Now I've read it all - there ARE some who likes the stock ride height of a 964! Me, I don't mind some gap but the monster truck-esque gap on US 964s is just too much for me. This is a Porsche-centric first-world problem I need to think about.
