Lightbulb Looking for 964t/965

Hey Guys,

I sold my 993 last week and I am searching for a 965. I don't want a pristine show car as I plan to drive it. I am more concerned with a good history and motor than I am a concourse car.I can deal with paint and interior issues myself. Let me know if you know of any for sale . I am not looking for cars over 35,000. May be a longshot but I am patient.

I am watching here, pelican, autotrader and eBay but let me know if you guys see anything out there.

thanks,

Matt

Did you do a search on Pelican? There have been several listed for some time that might be a good candidate for you. Jim

Why are you limiting cars over 35k miles. These cars are tanks and I can show you a number of 38-50k mile cars that look cleaner and drive better than some I know with far fewer miles.

There is a very nice one with 41k just posted on another thread.

I read it as 35k miles.

You might have a tough time. Good clean cars run more than that although there are deals to be had everywhere. Figure on a higher mileage 3.3 for that amount.

I will keep my eyes open but it is not often they come across one worth buying IMO for around that $$. I agree mechanics first, records etc cosmetics can always be cleaned up. I just find that cosmetically challenged cars usually don't correspond with mechanically sound. But there is a car out there for everyone.

Good Luck

2-4 % isn't bad. If you start seeing one cylinder way out or double digits I would start worrying.

I highly doubt it is producing 350 hp at 1 bar and B&B's although Dave's gauges are a nice feature at least $1000 upgrade and I highly doubt you will touch this car for $35k or less.

I know but thought it was funny if you don't know more pcars go with leakdown rather then compression you would be very scared at those numbers for a compression test.

Just made me laughed.

I didn't even read it as compression I saw 2 & 4 % and I just assumed he was talking leakdown. Compression at those numbers what compression?
