He did--figuratively. A locked tire has approximately 30% less traction than one at the threshold of lockup. He brakes too late, locks the front tires, doesn't modulate brake pressure sufficiently to regain some steering control, and significantly (and unfortunately) reshapes the car.

Maybe Sonny meant the guy didn't have the skills to drive a Turbo fast in that situation. I don't know.

The 964 RSR has a normally aspirated engine. Boost from a turbocharger didn't contribute to the driver's error.

To much speed at the exit, to late braking at the entrance, wheels locked=no steering. I won't bet my money on that driver.

I didn't think there was any indication that the car was an ultra rare RSR. If so then the driver is dumber than I thought.
