Default 69 GT3 Cup

I often lurk here and occasionally post and get good advice, but I rarely have much to contribute... So for a little Friday amusement I thought I'd post my car that some of you guys have unwittingly been helping me with.

It's a 1969 912 built by Wevo (with a little help from me). 2006 GT3 Cup motor, 2180 lbs wet, 993 6 speed, PCCB brakes, etc. I'm still very jealous of your cup cars, but then you can't drive them on the street (of course I'm not sure you'd want to).

Hope a mini build chrono is good for a laugh:

And a quick video...

Awesome build!!! How are the H2o temps when you push the car?? The inlets for the rads are quite a bit smaller than the 996 cup.

the car looks super aggresive in that first rolling shot, i love it!!!

With any speed water temps are really good- the cores are deep, so plenty of surface area, and it sucks from below the bumper and the horn grills as well. We did have issues with hot day stop and go traffic cooling at first, and needed to improve the ducting so air couldn't recirculate and add a second set of fans to address that. With the high idle the cup motor creates a surprising amount of heat just sitting there...

Wasn't this car featured in 911 & Porsche world, or some other UK magazine earlier this year?

Very sweet.

Well I think you made up for THAT! Beautiful build, looks like it goes like stink, can't imagine a cup motor in traffic!

Don't know but I remember it from a thread in the 7gt forum last year.

Brilliant!
