Incredible car with some very interesting options including what seems like a adjustable steeringwheel!?

This car was for sale in late 2019 and askingprice then was 1,1 million euros! There was a duscussion on it on the German Transaxleforum at the time see this link.

😀👌 Interesting Jay! Definetely some thought into that shield!

Kind regards

Regarding TS colors I have seen (other than already mentioned) Polarsilver, Midnightblue metallic, Maritimeblue, Indischrot.

Jay the yellow car (or one of them?) Was modified from new into RS spec by Uli Weinmann racing in Germany. The engine in my Turbo S replica was a spare to that car/ team see this pic of the yellow TS/RS

Hmmm let's see a Ferrari Daytona or a 968?? A Porsche Carrera GT or a 968??? An entire stable of high end sports cars or one 968?
Tough choice

Can you share any of the details you’ve collected so far on these?

I would have been somewhere around $250-300K-ish. Hope he gets his price...

Glad I found this ... Seems like my gut was right when they sent me the price. I love the 968 and the Turbo S is my dream car. I have driven a clone 3.0L 968 and I really want an original. But this price is a sad joke. I am currently writing an email to the seller asking for some clarification on the price and if they are aware of any comparable cars.

My thought is this is a 150-200K car. I will happily pay that amount for this car.

I guess I will just continue to hold out for Rajs car

Ask and get are 2 different things. I would love to see these cars climb in value but I doubt they have broken the $500k mark yet.
Would be interesting to see what it really sells for. Chances are, we might never know. This car is my inspiration for my replica/clone.

Hey Raj - I reached out to the sellers to ask (very politely) for an explanation on the price, and if they had any comps. They replied that there are only 14 left, and that one sold for 1.3Mil in the US and the least expensive sold for 650K also in the US. They believe it is worth more than the Turbo RS that sold for 340k(?). They also reported a very reputable auction sold them it would sell for 1Mil-1.3Mil.

I simply said thank you and good luck with the sale.

Wow Eric, well good luck to them. It makes me want to finish my project sooner than later.

Some interesting observations. The owner decided to spec it with sports seats and regular steering (non CS Options) but did keep manual door winders. It looks impeccable in the pictures. These cars have turned into jewelry. Too bad I am turning mine into the same. Hard to tell from the angles if its a non AC car.

It is a AC car, see pic. I saved some pics from when it was for sale in 2019.

Stupid me. Thought first that it's a 944 turbo conversion since it looked different that my 968 motor until I remembered that they used the 2.7 liter cylinder head of the Porsche 944 2.7L.

Twin exhaust!

Actually, it's not a 2.7head but unique heads for turbo S and turbo RS.
