Hi guys,

im in need of a a stage 1 Chip for a D1R supercharger kit made Bob Larsons (Flash)

I lost mine and don’t want to run it with the stock chip.

is there anybody that could clone a chip? My friend has a D1R stage 1 in his 968 and could steal his chip to be cloned

All you need is this and the appropriate chip to flash back to, super easy it reads and writes: Ebay link to USB TL866II Plus Programmer EPROM EEPROM
I of course don't condone piracy, for all I know there was talk of buying the rights to the development of this D1R kit.

I use this for all my retro computer needs, BIOS, Amiga Kickstart, Atari TOS, C64 Roms, etc

I know I have backup files somewhere of some of my chips, like the ProMax...

I see you are in Rhode Island, PM me if you ever want to come up to Boston and I burn a copy for you if you bring the chip.

Can the factory chip be flashed over and over or are the chips a one time use and you will need a stash of chips to flash ?

What do you need to read the contents of the file...some form of text reader or specialized software?

That programmer I mentioned comes with the software, they are just standard chips, the factory ones are mask roms I believe, but you can use eeprom as that is what they are intended for.
