Default Techart front spoiler lip

Have seen these mentioned and installed on a few cars. Were these an aftermarket item? Possible to find them? Thx.

Seems un-obtanium in the US especially. A few floating around Europe. One pops out of Europe and sells quickly every once and awhile.

I've had my 968 Cabriolet since 1995. I installed a chip, K&N filter, Techart front spoiler, and a few years later replaced the Cup2s and the stock 6 CD changer radio. About the only other main mod I considered was an aftermarket exhaust. Pretty funny vs cars these days where the aftermarket seems to have pretty much a replacements for everything.

The Techart spoiler replaced the "batwing" which is one reason I ordered it, I had damaged my batwing. The only bad thing for me is it's 3 pieces, the main spoiler and two corner covers which cover the main installation screws, and I've lost one of those covers. I plan to try to build a replacement I guess from fiberglass some day.

There was a gentleman on here a few years ago who sold a replica oem 968 splitter.
Not sure how similar it was to the Tech Art unit, but people praised the quality of the piece.
You might want to contact our friend Lart (Luis Artiga) on the 944T forums, to save one for you.
He gets them in his ebay parts store periodically.

Pretty sure the other models do not use the same 3 piece design.

The 3 piece design is just how Techart did it. Others did not use the exact same design so I would not be able to get the piece I need from a different design. Sorry to throw my missing piece confusing topic onto your thread.
