I've finished the 968 coupe registry for 1992 and the number of signal green coupes matched that of the total number of signal green full-run cabriolets at ZERO! Since SG was offered in 1993 we won't know if one was sold in NA until I finish the 93 coupes which will be the eraly part of next year. Great color but I guess no one else liked it. Here's a new 997 cab.

EDIT: Thanks for providing at least one other Signal Green 968.
Thanks to new owner, finally a pic that shows off the true color on a signal green 968. I miss it..

Regards

Looks very "race".

Would it have been possible that there may be a '94 or '95 Coupe in Signal Green (paint to Sample) and we wont really know untill the registry is completed?

I love SG.
That being said rare colors (outside of paint to sample) are rare for a
reason.

That is true. Right now there is only 1 color to sample coupe and that car I know and it is painted "summer yellow".

Many of the rare colors, including Paint to sample, were extra cost which was anywhere from $1500 to $2500 cost back in the 968 days. Most of the PTS are colors that were available in previous years and someone just had to have it.

IMHO I would say the other rare colors were just due to the fact that most of the US population can only deal with driving a black/red/white/silver car so that they "fit" in. Driving the only mint green car I can attest to the feedback the car brings, 95% positive and my 3 for 3 1st place show results. The fans may say that they could never drive one that color (I would get pulled over, wouldn't want people to notice me) but they love it. So do I.

Well put Jeff. Other times, some of these rare colors are what make the car special and command a premium. I am glad you have such a rare color car.
