Check it out...

See if you can spot the unusual feature (or lack of, hint, hint).

Winner!!!! One of 9 true 1995 coupes that don't have option code 423 which is the cassette holder with arm rest. Your $1000 prize will be deposited into your offshore account shortly.

My guess would've been the rare 968 x51 package w/ 3 extra hp [239 vs 236].

Is that the same as the CS coin tray, or different?

I would guess yes. There are no holes in the piece. And don't ask me why they exist. All I know is that every 968 coupe has option codes 423 (cassette holder and arm rest), 425 (rear wiper), and 650 (sunroof) except these 9 cars and they were true 95s, produced after June of 94 so they don't have option code 718, and they aren't even all in a row or at the end of production????

There are holes in the coin tray - there's a rubber insert that covers the bottom of the tray. I have a set on order from 944online because I'm tired of replacing the hinge assembly.

That is a really nice 968. Looks like it's completely unmolested, but it seems odd that there's no engine pictures. If I was looking for another car, I would be all over that one. Very nice from what I can tell. Monochrome interior is a little on the bland side though.

That's wrong. It is really code 231 which you always see with code 398/403 17" wheel cars. 231 is change in tire manufacuture. He also has the wrong radio code. He says 691 and it is really 694, the later model CD player. Still, pretty cool and nice car. Number 2,208 of 2,234 so pretty late coupe.

Wow, what a clean car. I am embarrassed that mine came out of the same factory only a year before...

What head unit is that? It looks similar to my trunk-mounted 6-CD Changer system's head unit, but I thought my Alpine Head Unit was aftermarket. I really want to toss the 6-CD, and it would be great if I could just swap that in...

Thanks for the link, glad to see there are still extremely clean, stock condition 968's out there!

Cheers

That one has a sunroof though...

I don't know - I can delete the armrest and the wiper myself, but the sunroof delete would be the winner for me.

I see plenty of engine pictures, very clean looking, at:

As to the leather knee bar: look closely at the interior and it almost seems like all lower dash components could be leather.

I want that car.
