I've driven Raj's replica, with a genuine Turbo S motor and RS trans-effing rocketship, hang on tight!

Raj's car is quicker then an OEM Turbo S. I have a few articles on the Turbo S when it was new. I'll see if i can get them scaned and post some up.

Here's another one for sale in blue. These are definitely nice cars but 99,900 EUR is a big number. Lot's of nice Porsches to choose from if you are ready to spend this kind of cash.

So if neither of these 968 Turbo's have m030 suspension then what kind of suspension do they have? Standard suspension would really suck!

They came with Bilsteins, ala turbo cup cars. They were one off suspensions and depending on turbo S or RS, the springs rates went accoringly.
I would expect the spindles and hubs to be M030, but calipers/rotors/pads were big reds up front.

It's a turbo RS motor with a turbo S transmission .

Raj - What's the difference between a Turbo RS transaxle and a std 6 sp? Is it just ratios / final drive?

Stew, I have the turbo S and it's quite different, gear ratios and final drive, output flanges etc etc.

A rare find, I'm sure. I hope to see your car in person one of these days.

I have seen 4 turbo S up close and passengered in one.
One Midnight Blue (the '93, not the '94)
One Polar Silver, the last one built, perhaps the most desirable (last time I saw it it had 22000km and still looked brand new)
One Grand Prix White, the one with red wheels.
One Orange, the one talked about here, with the modified hood à la TRS.

Wow, I wonder what the other cars are like. That is the silver one I was talking about. Thom, you said you've seen this car in person? Where is it located?

As far as I know it is still in Germany. It regularly shows up at 924/944/968 meets.
