You may consider adjusting your price some if you want to move it. They usually go for $1.8k to $2.6k.
$500 more buys a complete running car with 6 speed.

Just call it a Ruf968 engine, you'll get more hits and attention!

$3,100 for a complete running 968 ? you guys are brutal ! if this is true, omfg, are we upside down with our cars !

i was thinking maybe $ 3,200 - 3,500 for a motor such as this is more realistic.

there was one in Oklahoma, and another at the Phoenix Arizona dismantler. both, 4k.

Mark- I feel it is high too. I sold one some time back for $3.5K with the brain boxes and harness, 5% leakdowns, good compression and low miles. It was a quick sale and a solid motor. Good luck with your sale- Cheers, Mike

You are probally right. Funny thing I actually was looking at this exact car, down side for alot of us is it is in Oregon- quite a hall from Va... But would be a great deal for someone who can tinker.
Cheers, Mike

There has been some interest, but not enough. I still think it's a fair price based on the nearly perfect condition and what it cost me, but I did say "best offer" and I meant it. Anyone interested, contact me, I'm willing to negotiate!

Seriously?

Are you saying that if NOBODY offers any money for it, and I wave $500 at you, I'll get an engine?

Not to pile on you, but for $5000, you're getting into the range of what it would cost to get a used BMW N54...

Have I mentioned that I really want to do a 968 N54 swap?

I know!

Once you figured out how to get the damn thing installed, the rest would be extra-easy...simply install the Dinan Stage 3 software and you've got a 400 horsepower monster with zero hardware modifications.
