Default 968 Front Splitter, Carnewal vs. OEM?

I searched around and couldn't quite figure out the story on the front splitter. I called Sunset and they said that PMNA no longer carries any parts for anything older than the 996. So is it possible to still get the OEM splitter or is Carnewal the best source now? Is it made to the same specs as the OEM version? What is everyone's experience with buying from them?

Yes, OEM from Carneval.....Others are fiberglass and will crack easily. There is a Techart one, again no longer made but may be available used. Luck

Is anyone currently using the Carnewall one? Based on the pictures from the website it doesn't appear to be drilled for the factory mounting points. Also, do you retain the batwing?

No it doesn't come predrilled - or at least 5 or so years ago it didn't - the bat wing stays - they recomend that you cut off the tab so it sits flush. I opt'd to cut holes for the tabs at the time I drill the attachment points. I then had it painted and it was easy attach when it was ready....

Really? It seems insane to spend 360 euro and then have to drill holes yourself. So far I've been highly disappointed with what is available for the 968.

Are you guys looking for a street splitter or a race splitter? I have the best motorsport splitter for 944/968s on the market and race proven.

Will a 951 batwing or splitter fit a 968, and vice versa?

Same here. Some day I'll find the Tequipment front and rear spoilers for the 968 cab.

Rears are readily available. The fronts are impossible to find.
