Weird, I have L0G postal code, but I'm an hour from Mt. Albert, lol! If anyone needs me to look at this I'm happy to make the drive.

I spoke with the owner the other day and this car sounds like a basket case. he said it has bad paint, and many things that don't work. he bought the car in January but really wants a 951 that is coming from Ottawa. He has lots of 951 parts but doesn't seem to know much about these cars, but thinks he does. All of the work he quotes in the ad were done by previous owner. I am not walking away but running. Too bad a red cab was available last month and was recently owned by a porsche dealer mechanic who spent lots on oem parts and everything works and could have bought it for 12k, but was thinking about it and now he sold it to his friend...oh well.

I see canada has its own version of Carfax called Carproof. Does anyone have an account that they can run a VIN through? I know here in the US some subscribe to CarFax and can run as many inquiries as they like. I'm looking for a 968 coupe that went to canada. Not to buy it, just to confirm it did indeed get there and maybe is still around. Thanks

sorry don't have access to unlimited carproof, however Canadian registrations and records do show up on carfax. so if not on car fax probably not on carproof. have you googled the vin?

Thanks, I saw something that said that Carproof was better then carfax for Canadian vehicles. Nothing on google. I'm looking for 2 1993 Speed Yellow Canadian M030 968 coupes that I'm guessing went racing right away but I'm not sure. Would like to know if they are still out there. They were twins, 10 VINs apart, had the cloth interior as well.

Keep posting ads here and PM me if you see one... I'm in the market for one... currently have a 924S that I bought in October and love the car but the 968 is an even more appealing "version" of that! Have more spare cash now to get one.

There's another one in Montreal for 16k as well. And in Nova Scotia for 10.5k! Looks nice too but maybe a bit too far for me otherwise I'd totally check it out...
There's also the one posted on the boards in Massachusetts. Anybody import before? I saw there is a 6.1% duty on top of the exchange rate difference... So more like a 7.75k car. But if it's in good shape it'd be a good deal and only five hours away instead of 15 hours for the cdn one in Nova Scotia.

16k is a bit pricey for me but I guess you get what you pay for right? I'm trying to track one down for maybe 12k at most if it was in great condition but a little higher mileage. I would actually prefer that it's been driven this whole time.
