Rattle on sunroof panel
I have spent years cursing a nasty rattle sourced at the triangular microswitch casting at the apex of the sunroof area: it rattles endlessly. I've tried putting some silicone in there but don't dare overdo it for risk of effecting the switch's accuracy.
Does anyone know of a fix for this (and no- I don't want to seal the sunroof closed)

The rattle (at least in my car) is from the air deflector not the switch. It rattles in the pocket it slips into, I can stick my finger in there and stop it or just close the roof a little.

There are also some washers in the hinges / fittings at the front (I'm going a little from memory here) used to a degree to adjust the fit - mine rattle like hell at one side when the roof is open - need to stick some grease or something in there but haven't got round to it yet.
