So, my boss at the shop purchased it on online auction in Boston and had it transported to South Carolina. I then transported it from there to our shop in Athens GA, and decided to take some horror photos for you guys.
I can understand if there is not much left to recognize from this car, but I figured by the modifications that somebody might know who this car used to belong to.
Just curious to find some background info about the car. Mileage on the motor, how the fire started, list of mods, etc.
Any info would be appreciated!! If not then kick back and enjoy the pics.

Overall I think there are still some good salvageable parts. There is a good possibility the engine is undamaged. The 6-speed trans might be ok, but the fire seemed to be centralized in the rear of the car so odds are less. All of the brakes and wheels so far appear to be useable. The calipers will need new seals I'm sure. The fenders - although crispy, can probably be restored. The supercharger with bracket and plumbing for the intercooler and all that seem to be unharmed. I think this alone was the big influence for the purchase. There are enough odds and ends pieces in the car that make it a worthwhile purchase, I would say. But we will just have to tear it down and see for sure!

That's a Speed Force Racing kit. I do remember seeing a car with naca ducts and splitter with an SFR kit on the old 968.net site. it is long gone.
search for SFR 968.

I've searched online a good bit, but so far have not come up with any prior pictures or information about this car. I'm quite surprised.
I'm actually not sure what caused the fire. That's part of the reason I wanted to contact the previous owner, just out of curiosity. The fuel pump could have been the cause, but it would need to be ignited somehow or super heated to actually catch fire.
